Moonchildren is a comedy that chronicles the lives of eight college seniors in the
United States during the turbulent year of 1965. Those who grew up during the 60's,
as well as young adults today, will enjoy this hysterical, yet deeply passionate
journey through a time of Civil Rights protests, drugs, and the onset of an unwanted
war; The Beatles, Martin Luther King, the Kennedy assassination, draft cards and
war protests.
Moonchildren touches the lives of generations as it questions the
growth from rebellious youth into adulthood and discovers what it meant to grow up
during the 60's. Through the arts of stage acting, these Moonchildren of the 60's
struggle to find their personal identities, and meaning for their generation in the
middle of a changing society and an inevitable war.
